Ms. Alisonleigh Asher

Ms. Alisonleigh Asher is a multiple award winning teacher and international speaker who has been invited to serve as an education delegate to several countries.

 

She has received critical acclaim from a number of institutions and individuals including Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, The United Nations, UNICEF, The Unity and Diversity World Council, and Harvard University.

 

In acknowledgment of her longstanding contribution to children and families, she was personally invited to meet Nelson Mandela and was one of the few selected to witness his Congressional Gold Medal Ceremony in Washington DC.

Ms. Katie Willing

Ms. Katie Willing has been teaching children for 15+ years.  She discovered her passion for working with young children while teaching in an elementary school in Thailand where she lived for several years. She graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education in Victoria, B.C. Canada, where she is originally from. She is a co-founder of the "Strong Start B.C." program, which in conjunction with the Ministry of Education, provides Early Learning programs in elementary schools for children and their families. Her program received the "Success By Six" award for providing rich, stimulating learning opportunities for young children.

 

Additionally, Ms. Katie co-founded Blue Marble™ with her husband, Jordan. The organization creates child-focused STEM materials for families and schools internationally. Their work has received multiple awards.
