Mrs. Victoria grew up in New Jersey but has lived many places including Maryland, North Carolina, Nevada, Washington and eventually ending up in Oregon. She has a degree in Culinary Arts as well as Elementary Education but her teaching passion is at the preschool level. With 11 years of preschool experience in Montessori, (and many more in ELED) she brings her love of the Montessori Method to us at The Learning Lab. Mrs. Victoria is never without a smile on her face. In her spare time, she can be found in her garden or running her small cottage bakery. She enjoys spending time traveling and being outdoors with her son, her husband and their two dogs Sage and Lucy.

Mrs. Katie has been teaching children for 15+ years. She discovered her passion for working with young children while teaching in an elementary school in Thailand where she lived for several years. She graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education in Victoria, B.C. Canada, where she is originally from. She is a co-founder of the "Strong Start B.C." program, which in conjunction with the Ministry of Education, provides Early Learning programs in elementary schools for children and their families. Her program received the "Success By Six" award for providing rich, stimulating learning opportunities for young children.
Additionally, Ms. Katie co-founded Blue Marble™ with her husband, Jordan. The organization creates child-focused STEM materials for families and schools internationally. Their work has received multiple awards.
